The United Kingdom alone has over 190 gin distilleries. Hundreds of gins are being produced. New gins are constantly popping up. The UK has gone gin crazy. The likelihood of me trying each and everyone of them is slim to none. I'm a Londoner, When I get a chance to get away its to another country not another city in Britain.

So when Gin_foragers and The_realginshady's story popped up on my Instagram stories I thought I need to get on this.

Gin_forager and The_realginshady have come up with a brilliant idea. Every week you find a gin buddy who wants to swap a gin from their local distiller. You buy a miniature and ship it out and your buddy does the same. They named it #projectginswap.

I messaged Gin_forager eager to participate. She sent out a gin from Yorkshire Harrogate Gin and I sent out Marylebone Gin.

I found it a little hard finding a local gin in miniature as most London gins are available across the country.

A few days later my Harrogate gin arrived. Miniatures are cute and I have a little collection but it can always do with growing.

This concept of swapping gins with fellow gin enthusiasts is great. I'm a little gutted I didn't come up with the idea myself.
