Caorunn { ka-roon} 41.8% vol

Updated: Jun 24, 2020

So let’s step back in time to the first time I tried Caorunn. January 2017,I was living in Glasgow and we were at a burger joint in the west-end. I’m a sucker for a good burger and what makes a burger taste even better? A good gin and tonic. The barman recommend it, he said he was a fan of Scottish Gins and this was one of his favorites. We had it with a Fever-tree tonic and a slice of apple. It was good from what I can remember. The next time I was traveling down to London I brought a bottle from duty-free. Now fast forward to June 2018. A fellow gin lover and I came up with an idea to review the same gin but it our own personal style #sharedginreviews after a phone call and lots of messages exchanged we decided the first gin we would feature was Caorunn. So here we are. While at Junipalooza this year I didn’t get to visit the Caorunn Highland Bothy. I was just to short of time but they had from what I herd amazing cocktails on offer. So I made these two beauties.
